Unique elevator system

What an absolute disaster of a stay! I arrived at the hotel only to find the lobby closed, forcing me to squeeze through the automatic doors like an intruder. After struggling to get assistance, I found the staff lacking urgency or care when I finally got inside. My room was old and shabby, with an air conditioning unit that roared like a jet engine. Sleep was near impossible with that racket ruining the night, and the overall state of the hotel felt neglected. It was not the experience I expected from this brand at all!

Richmond's dining scene is fire! The Kabana Rooftop serves up killer bites while you soak in the skyline. Plus, my room was a solid space with a fantastic view, and the breakfast spread had just enough variety to kickstart my day. 🍳

The check-in was a hot mess, with a wild goose chase and no one to help out. Plus, the WiFi was as elusive as a good parking spot downtown. Managed to snag some data from nearby cafes, but come on, people! 🚫

The location is excellent, right in downtown. The room was spacious, and very clean. I appreciated the comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Breakfast had a decent variety. Staff were friendly and helpful. 😊

Had a great experience staying here for a short getaway focused on exploring Richmond's attractions. The location was perfect for visiting the State Capitol and nearby museums, all within walking distance. I especially appreciated the spacious room, which was clean and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of sight-seeing. Breakfast had a decent variety that kept my mornings energized, although I wish they had better options for coffee.

The hotel had a convenient location and the room provided a nice view, but there were several issues. The mini-fridge was broken, and I had to request clean towels multiple times. Also, the cleanliness of the bathroom was lacking, impacting my overall experience.

Nice hotel with a great location downtown. My Queen Room with Two Queen Beds was spacious and clean. The beds were comfy, perfect for a good night's rest. I especially enjoyed the corner room. it had a lovely view. Breakfast spread was decent but could use more variety. Staff were friendly and willing to help, which added to the experience. However, the check-in process was confusing. There were some navigation issues between the Hampton and Homewood Suites. I felt a bit frustrated during check-in, as it took longer than expected. Also, the elevators were slow at times, leading to some long waits. Despite these hiccups, I would consider staying here again for the charm and convenience.

Unfortunately, the payment process left much to be desired, causing unnecessary stress.

This hotel suits me perfectly with great amenities like fast Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, and a fitness center. On my first stay, the staff helped me find a local food delivery number, which was nice.

We really enjoyed the grab-and-go breakfast option, especially with our small baby. The staff kept everything spotless, and the shuttle service made parking in Richmond so much easier for our large family.

In my wife’s opinion, having more family-friendly dining options would be great.

Signage needs a major upgrade!!! The noise from the nightclub makes sleeping unbearable for higher floor guests!!!

Not the best experience

Had a rough stay. The room I booked didn't work out, so I didn't get the private space I needed. And a little annoying since I didn't expect to be charged full price when I didn't even stay. Wish I could've relied more on the staff to help.
